Applying Moisturizer to Skin is Important for Staying Hydrated

With summer coming to an end, it’s important that we talk about ways to keep your skin hydrated and glowing after spending all of that time out in the sun. For those looking for ways to hydrate your skin, support with anti-aging and create all around glowing skin, these tips are for you.

  1. Keep Skin Hydrated: You know what summer means? Humidity. Humidity in the air slowly draws the moisture from your skin leaving it dry and dehydrated. Keeping a skin lotion like, our Rescue Cream, in your bag is critical as it will allow you to keep hydrating your skin, and fuel it with good nutrients! Hydration = the key to anti-again.
  1. Drink lots of water:  Water is the most important ingredient in healthy skin tissue. It keeps your skin supple, soft, and radiant. Remember to carry water anywhere you go and drink a minimum of 2-3 liters in a day. Water is also very crucial to flush the toxins out from the skin through sweat.
  1. Exfoliate: Exfoliation is the key to brighter and smoother skin. It removes dulling skin debris and piled up dead cells. This debris prevents the skin from breathing and can congest the skin. Exfoliate with a natural home remedy, like coffee grounds mixed with oil and sea salt. Remember that exfoliation is required for your entire body and not just your face. You should, however, make sure to be gentle while exfoliating your skin. Do not over-exfoliate because your skin will get bruised and you may end up getting rashes. People with sensitive skin should opt for mild exfoliators that are tender on the skin.
  1. Use SPF, daily: Sunscreen should be your best friend during summers. Choose one that has a broad ultraviolet spectrum (between 30-50 SPF and covers UVA and UVB rays). Reapply every three hours if you are spending all day in the sun. Make sure to cover your hands, feet, shoulders, and neck as well.

When it comes to SPF’s and CBD creams to use to keep your skin hydrated and combat the aging that can come from being in the sun, not all products are created equal, so be sure to learn more about how and why you should consider using CBD products for anti-aging purposes.
